It’s funny. Buddy won’t touch anything that he thinks is a Pea with a 10 foot pole, but he happily slurps down “Shrek Swamp Slime Soup”.

I can’t exactly give you a recipe for the soup, as I just chunk stuff in the pot without measuring (split peas, broth, ham bone, carrots, onion, potato, bay leaf, thyme). If you’d like more specific directions try this one on RecipeZaar for Split Pea Soup.

Dinosaur poop, swamp slime… potato, potahto. If it sounds extra goopy and icky, it’ll probably lead to a hit introduction with this age group! Whatever gives you some insurance that they will eat it, (AND it’s good for them!), it’s excellent.
