I love when I can solve a problem without buying anything. . .just “Making it Do” with something I already have.
Make it Do
Here’s a perfect example.  Years ago when I needed to organized my makeup drawer, I made my own drawer dividers.  Sure–the stores are just FULL of products to divide up your drawers.  You can get plastic ones, wire ones, wooden ones.  There are dividers made to fill up the entire drawer, and dividers that come in modular systems so you can configure them to meet your need.  These dividers all have one thing in common. . . they cost money.

Cardboard boxes from cereal, crackers, pasta etc are FREE.  I’m sure you all know, free is my favorite price.  All I had to do was cut down some boxes to fit and viola–dividers.
Make it Do with Cardboard Box Drawer DividersThey aren’t beautiful, but they work.  I’ve had these boxes in this drawer for about seven years, and I don’t see any reason why they would have to be replaced anytime soon.

Not sure I can see them lasting a whole 7 years as I’d imagine they’d get bent and pushed around, but I guess it depends on the drawer and how often/hard it’s used. Still, a pretty nifty idea!

So many neat boxes can be used for dividers/organization. My Restasis eye drops come in a nice plastic container the is good for organizing drawers, etc.
