Back to school clothes. With a fashion conscious teenage girl in the house it can be a trial. Luckily for me, boys are a bit easier, especially 12 year old boys.
Walmart sent me in store to take a look at their back to school fashions. Since Princess was out of town, Buddy and I hit the boys section to see what they had.
Character T-shirts and humor T shirts are big with the tween and teen boys crowd. I love the big wall of T-shirts that Walmart has. It’s so fun to see all the silly sayings–plus with the “wall” display you don’t have to pull everything out to see the designs.
For those of you who are a bit more traditional in your tastes (or have a school uniform) there was also a large selection of solid colored polo shirts that caught my eye:
We picked up a couple pairs of jeans and then some of the “important” stuff–socks and underwear. I checked with Buddy-according to him boxer briefs are still the underwear of choice. He informed me that all the guys would tease someone in the locker room who wore “tighty whities”. He also got all excited over the Russel performance active crew socks. He likes the design that goes up the back, I like the moisture wicking.
And of course we couldn’t get out of the store without picking up just a few school supplies. Even though I didn’t have the school list with me, I knew we’d need a few book covers. He liked the patterns on these two extra large sized ones.
So if you’ve got a boy who needs some back to school clothes or gear, head on in to Walmart. . . and don’t forget to check out the T Shirt wall! Heck, if you’ve got a boy on your Christmas list one of these T shirts might be just the thing as well.
