Christmas shopping can be stressful. Not only do you want to make sure you get great presents for everyone on your list-you want to get it at a great price.
So what happens when you see that perfect gift, but it’s early in the season like now? Do you stress? Do you worry that if you buy it now you might find it later on sale at a better price? Well, Walmart has a deal for you! This holiday, Walmart is excited to introduce their Christmas Price Guarantee.
Walmart knows that customers struggle sometimes with hoping for a better sale price later in the season and running the risk of that key gift being out of stock. So this year, starting November 1st, if you purchase a gift at Walmart and see a printed advertisement for an identical item at a local competitors prior to December 25th with a lower price, bring in your original receipt and the ad to the customer service desk and they will give you a gift card for the difference!
Here are some important facts:
*Walmart will not perform the Christmas Price Guarantee on Black Friday Deals-however you can use their usual Ad Match policy.
*You must bring in the printed ad (not a photo or photocopy-the original ad) for the price match DURING THE TIME FRAME of the ad. Another words-if that special toy you’ve already purchased goes on sale at Meg-o-mart from Dec 1st-Dec 7th, then you’ve got to bring your original receipt in to Walmart and perform the price match between Dec 1st & Dec 7th.
*This guarantee does not apply to online deals.
*You’ve got to have that original receipt. So save them all, just in case. You DO NOT have to bring the actual item in.
*This program does NOT include food or grocery items.
*It has to be an identical item, in the same size, color, brand etc.
*This policy does not apply to items listed in the competitors ad as “Limited Quantityâ€.
*You can use this program for items you have already placed on layaway.

I just happen to be at Walmart on Sunday, when i was in the checkout line a lady ahead of me had probably ten board games and an ad from Toys R Us with her, she was price matching. I only ever think about food ads never nonconsumable products, the lady got me to thinking and your post came about the same time. I am on the look out for a Monster High Doll my daughter wants, this may be a great way to get it at a lower price and maybe something else =)
