Love Christmas shopping, but hate running around to a bunch of different stores and worrying that you still didn’t get the best deal? Well then–I’ve got something you’ll be interested in learning about! Walmart asked me to share the Walmart Christmas Ad Match Guarantee with all of you!
I even made a video to tell you all about it. (email subscribers will have to click through to see the video)
Isn’t that great? You can buy everything on your list at Walmart now, then just keep your eye on the sales fliers of th
1. Buy your Christmas gifts at Walmart or Walmart.com
Note: This includes all grocery items and general merchandise, including items placed on layway. It does not include private label, tobacco/alcohol, gasoline, and prescriptions.
2. Keep an eye on the Christmas fliers in your area.
Note: Does not include Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday sales as well as the current ad match policy exclusions like internet offers, expired ads, percentage off ads, etc. However if you buy your item in store on those days you can utilize the regular ad match policy.
3. See the EXACT same item you purchased go on sale.
4. Bring the original receipt and the competitor’s flier in to Walmart Customer Service while the competitors sale is going on.
Note: Not the gift receipt, the original receipt with the prices on it. Also the item must be in stock at the local stores–so if it’s sold out at the competitor then you won’t be able to utilize this policy.
Note: for Walmart.com it’s slightly different, email christmasadmatch@Walmart.com and give them the original purchase’s order confirmation number, the item name, your zip code, the name of the competitor, the ad’s valid dates, the sale price, and the page of the ad where you saw it. This MUST be done during the time period the ad is valid in order to receive a refund.
5. Get a Walmart gift card for the difference in price!
Happy shopping!
