It’s grilling season! There is just something about the warmer weather that makes you want to cook over a fire in the great outdoors. Of course part of the appeal is keeping all that extra heat out of the house, but there is no denying that the flavor is awesome as well!
So instead of talking about meat, when Walmart asked me to write about Summer Grilling I thought I’d do something a bit different and talk about vegetables!
Grilling vegetables makes them smokey and sweet-it turns “rabbit food” into something that you will happily gobble down and beg for more!
Here are some of my favorite vegetables to grill:
Zucchini
Summer Squash
Eggplant
Sweet Peppers
Mushrooms
Tomatoes
Onions
I enjoy growing many of these vegetables in my garden–but they are never all ready at the same time. And my peppers never really do that great anyway. I’ve noticed that the vegetable department in Walmart has improved greatly in the last few years–I can always find a good selection of lovely vegetables when I’m in my local Walmart (Vestal, NY!)
So how do I actually grill my vegetables? Well watch my newest video to see!
What’s your favorite type and way to grill your vegetables?

I always have so much trouble finding good produce. I live in Sidney, NY… about 45 minutes from Vestal. I’ll have to check out that Walmart! Thanks for sharing.
