This year Walmart is featuring the Top 20 toys Chosen by Kids  for Christmas, where they got the opinions of hundreds of kids, ages 18 months to 12 years on what were the hottest and most fun toys out for Christmas.  Walmart used that information to choose the top 20 Chosen by Kids toys for the 2014 Holiday!

As a Walmart Mom I have the fun opportunity to try out 5 of the top toys myself and share the experience with you.  So far I’ve played with the Sew Cool Threadless Sewing machine and the Disney Princess Palace Pets Magic Dance Pumpkin.

This week we are concentrating on active Ride-Ons, Scooters and Racing Cars-things that get a kids outside and moving–like the classic Razor A Kick Scooter.  This scooter is one of those gifts that appeals not only to litte kids but to that difficult to shop for “tween” to “teen” child.  Let me tell you, I was glad to see this particular toy show up on my doorstep.  We already have one of these scooters, and when you have two kids, one scooter is never enough!  Now instead of fighting over who gets to use the scooter while the other kid sits out, we will just get some minor grumbling over who gets to use the NEW scooter as opposed to the older one. (note: the older one is about 5 years old and the kids are STILL using it–these toys last!)Razor A Kick Scooter

The scooter is sturdy but light -it’s made of aircraft grade aluminium and weighs just 6lbs.  That makes it easy to carry (plus you can fold it down to make things even easier).  Kids and big kids up to 143lbs can zip around the driveway or neighborhood with just a few scoots of their feet.  The rear fender brake allows kids to stop the scooter with ease. Worried your child might grow out of it too soon?  Wellthe handlebar can be adjusted to three different heights according to the child’s size amd comfort.  The best part?  The Razor a Kick Scooter is only $22.70.  As of this writing they are all out of stock online, but check your local stores for availability.

I’d love to show you all a picture of my kids zooming around on this fun toy, but there is a quarter inch of snow on our driveway–so that isn’t going to work.  Buddy and Princess offered to zip through the downstairs of our house but I wasn’t up for that kind of chaos–so here’s a stock shot of what it looks like all extended out:Razor A kick Scooter at Walmart

Whatever you choose for a holiday gift, don’t forget that you have plenty of ways to shop at Walmart this holiday season.  You can order online for delivery to your home with free shipping on orders over $50 and on ALL top 100 gifts.  You can order online for convenient pickup at your local store (free of charge).  You can put your purchases on Walmart’s Holiday Layaway.  Of course you can always do price match and use coupons, plus now with Savings Catcher you can just enter your receipt online and “catch” any savings you’ve missed from other stores.
