Guess what? Today I’m a c0-host at a live chat over at the Motherhood! The topic is “Tweens and Self Esteem”. (Note: if you miss it the chat will be archived-but it’s more fun to show up live and participate!)
This is a topic near and dear to my heart~Princess is 10 now, and she is hitting all those tween speed bumps! You know the kind:
“Why is Susie so popular?”
“Why doesn’t Lindsey like me? I’ve never done anything to her?”
“All the other girls are wearing (insert popular item here) why can’t I?”
“Nobody likes me, I don’t have any friends” (note: then why are kids calling the house for you all the time!)
“I’m not good at anything”
Yeah, the tween years can be tough on a kid-they are figuring out who they are, who they want to be, where they fit in the scheme of things. It’s all hard on a kids self confidence.
So join us for this class on Tweens and Building Self-Esteem. We’ll be chatting and sharing ways to help create a strong sense of self-esteem and encourage your tween. Come and share your ideas for giving tweens a sense of belonging, pride and trust in themselves.
