Walmart’s “Get On The Shelf”

Have you heard about Walmart’s “Get On The Shelf” contest?

As a Walmart Mom I get the opportunity to tell you about all sorts of cool stuff!  The “Get on the Shelf “contest is the first of it’s kind to be organized by a major retailer.  Think of it like a reality TV show for products–folks get to submit videos of their product for a chance to get the product sold on Walmart.com and even in Walmart stores~and the public gets to decided!  If you are the inventor/developer of the winning product Walmart will even give you advice on how to how to ramp up your production, deal with the logistics and handle the advertising necessary to be a supplier for the world’s largest retailer!  How cool is that?

Because this is a a contest, there are rules and such that I need to mention!  There is no purchase necessary.  Contestants can enter from Dec. 21, 2011 to Feb. 22, 2012.  They are subject to Official Rules.  The voting dates for the public to weigh in on your products are round 1- March 7 to April 3, 2012 and round 2- April 11 to April 24, 2012.
