BBC’s Wartime Farm, Episode 1 (incl series description)

BBC’s Wartime Farm, Episode 2

BBC’s Wartime Farm, Episode 3

BBC’s Wartime Farm, Episode 4
Wartime Farm -- Episode 5Now replicating the restrictions of 1942, the team deals with fuel and food shortages.  As they retrofit a vehicle to run on a coal generator Alex heads to the coal mines to learn what it was like to work the mines in wartime.  Ruth and her daughter (who is in for a visit) learn about the Women’s Timber Corps (and even get to interview a real “lumber Jill” who worked for the war effort back in those days). Ruth also works at a British Restaurant (or emergency food center) that feeds evacuees and air raid victims.
