Simple Sloppy Joes

1lb Ground Beef
1 Onion
1 Green Pepper
1C Catsup (or Ketchup!)
2TBS Brown Sugar
1TBS Mustard
1/2C Water

Chop onion & green pepper
Brown onion, pepper & ground beef
Drain fat.
Add catsup, brown sugar, mustard & water and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve on hamburger roll, buns or bread.

Variations:
You can toast the bread, roll or bun.
Serve over rice, noodles or even baked potato.
Use ground venison, turkey or pork in place of the beef.
Instead of ground meat use leftover cooked meat, chopped.
Skip the green pepper.
Use 2tsp of onion powder in place of the onion.
If you like a less sweet sauce use spaghetti sauce in place of the catsup.
Replace brown sugar with sugar, molasses or honey.
Use spicy brown or dijon mustard in place of plain.
Use chicken or beef broth in place of the water.
Add garlic to taste.
Add a TBS of sweet pickle relish.
