We had a fantastic show on budgeting this Monday over at Frugal Coast2Coast (remember, it’s always available on demand if you missed the live show)! Budgeting is an issue that there are so many questions on. . . it was a lot of fun to answer folk’s questions and discuss the issues. If you listened to the show and enjoyed it, why not leave a comment below to let all the folks who haven’t tried it out yet know what they are missing!

We did mention a bunch of web sites, articles, books and resources during the show. Here they are for easy access!

This coming Monday’s show is about Exercising on a Budget-something I know that I need. We have fitness expert Jonathan Roche (of the Flylady Network) as our guest. Start thinking of your questions for him now, I’ll be giving a shout out for them soon!

And remember, as always, if you miss any of our shows the are always available “On Demand” at our Frugal Coast2Coast show page.

Just wanted to mention that I have a budget worksheet as well. I only post it because it is a bit different from the other sheets I have seen.

It uses Google Docs, which works perfect for me so I can update it anywhere. If you prefer excel, you can quickly export it.

Also, it is automated with rules and calculations. Instead of having a “difference” column, I simply have the “actual” amount turn red if it is over its budget, and turn green if it is under. That is a very quick way for me to see what I need to change.
