I am looking for a vegetable garden expert for next Monday’s episode of Frugal Coast2Coast. Any suggestions?

What gardening questions (vegetable or ornamental) would you all like to see answered on air?

Hmm, so its sort of a gardening question as it pertains to soil. We built a raised bed and loaded it with lots of compost and a bit of the clay rock that is our back yard. However, the rest of that clay rock is still a rock. We are having problems getting grass to grow and I don’t even want to plant my herb patch until I amend the soil TONS. Plus we have poor drainage to boot (probably because its solid clay). So should we try to work compost into the soil when its that lovely clay mud, or try and wait until its a dry rock?
