Review: Walmart’s Disc to Digital with Vudu

Do you have movies you can’t live without?  Do you wish that you could access them wherever you are on whatever device you are using?

If that’s you then Walmart has a program that you will really think is cool!  It’s the new Disc to Digital program.  Using Vudu you can have your favorite movies from participating studios “converted” (really just buying digital rights) and made available on just about anything that reaches the internet at your local Walmart Photo Center.  That’s right, you can then watch your movies on your smartphone, your computer, your tablet, your gaming system-right now it’s compatible with over 300 devices!

It only costs $2 to have it converted in the same format, $5 if you want to upgrade it to HD.  I’d say that’s a bargain.  I especially like the fact that you can bring in discs that are scratched and unplayable and “convert” them for $2–much cheaper than buying a new DVD!
