Twilight.

It isn’t just the period between day and night anymore!

No-it is a bestselling book series & movie phenomena! If you have anyone in the tween to teenager age range you have probably heard of this Teen Vampire/Love/Adventure series. It isn’t just popular among teens either-I read and enjoyed the entire series.

In conjunction with the movie being released on DVD March 21st, Walmart has set up a pretty neat Twilight page on their website. They are also having me give away this fantastic Twilight prize pack* valued at over $150!

Twilight Gift Pack
Entering is easy, and you can get up to 3 chances!

#1-Leave a comment below sharing why you enjoy the books (or why you are interested in reading them). That is one entry.

#2-Blog about this giveaway (if you blog), then come back and leave a comment with the link to that post. That is a second entry

#3-If you use twitter or facebook-tweet (or put on your wall) about the giveaway and come back to leave a comment. That is a third entry.

This giveaway is open until Friday, March 20th at noon. A random winner will be drawn from all valid entries and posted on Saturday, March 21st!

Want more chances to win? Many of the other Elevenmoms are also hosting contests-when the page is up that consolidates all the contests I will post the link.

Have fun and good luck!

*Note: The items in the pack may vary slightly from those shown.

I love how easy it is to get completely lost in the story and how the author makes you think about the characters all of the time!

I love Twilight because it’s a romance story that actually comes across as real — which is impressive, considering one character could never actually exist….

I love the books. I normally don’t read ‘vampire’ books, but this one sucked me in. I like that they appeal to all ages. My 12 y/o daughter read Twilight when it first came out. When New Moon came out, she devoured it over the weekend. At that point, I decided to read Twilight myself. I was hooked. We even got ‘grandma’ to read the series this past year. LOL

I think I might be the only person in the world (or at least my social circle) who hasn’t read the series yet. I’m dying to and hoping to get to it over the summer when things aren’t so crazy with the kids!

I’ve only read and seen twilight but it’s a book and movie that my hubby and I both like and can enjoy together. We’re big fans and if we had more time (10 month old) we’d read the rest!

I love the Twilight books! I loved the history of the two packs, the vampires and the wolves. It was really interesting and I actually want to do more research on the myths, I’m sure that the book only gives a watered-down version.

And of course what girl can resist a good love story, Bella torn between to men fighting over her. If only we were all so lucky 🙂

Please consider me entered 🙂 I started reading Twilight for many reasons – I had seen the book in stores before the hype and it looked interesting, but never picked up on it. Then, after hearing more about it, I read Twilight and love it! I purchased New Moon in the middle of reading it because I knew I couldn’t do with a lapse in between books. I’m reading N.M. slowly b/c I can’t afford another book right now and even if I could I’d want to wait for the paperback vs of Eclipse to keep them uniform (I’m a lil crazy like that!) 🙂

I read all four books this past summer and fell in love with the story. It may not be the greatest book series or amazing pieces of literature, but the story line really drew me in. I had to know what was going to happen next. It was an addiction. Even now that the series is over, I find myself missing my “Twilight fix.” I think the best part of the books, though, for me, was reading about the relationship between Bella and Edward. There’s something irresistible about the Romeo and Juliet storyline, isn’t there? 🙂 It makes me feel good inside to see something work out for characters who seem so real…minus the vampire stuff… Bella is a typical teenager who has problems that many teens face in real life. The core of the characters themselves, their personalities, aren’t fantasy things that are unattainable. It’s easy to identify with the characters because they are very human in a modern time. It’s a great series and I don’t think I could ever pick just one thing about the books that I like. 🙂 I don’t care if Stephanie Meyer isn’t a good gramatician (someone good with grammar). Her stories are amazing.

I loved the books because they were writen so true to first love and what it felt like as a teen to feel that intensely. The vampire part was just an added bous to the whole book. It also put me in a more romantic frame of mind so my husband loved it when I read the books too.:)

My little sister and I love Twilight. We read the books before they became a real hit and everyone was reading them. Loved the movie. I think my favorite thing about the books is that they have such an amazing story line that captivates all readers. I am currently on vacation in Port Angelas, WA and can’t believe how many people come on the “Twilight Trail” here. I’m here for my anniversary and it’s amazing and yes we did take one day and go on the Twilight trail and even ate our anniversary dinner at Bella Italia’s. It’s amazing what Stephanie Meyers series has done for the community and economy here.
