After a week off from menu planning due to travel, I’m back on track!

I hope you all enjoyed last weeks post on why you should plan a menu. Several folks commented that they were going to try menu planning and report back in this week! I can’t wait to hear how they did!

Monday: Baked Ziti Leftovers

We had a big “Christmas” party on Saturday for our motorcycle club. I had made baked ziti and there is a ton left. Add some leftover salad from today and we have a meal without any work.

Tuesday: Fried Rice

There are plenty of leftover bits and bobs that can go into a nice big pan of fried rice

Wednesday: Venison Steak & Onions with Potato Wedges and frozen veggies.

Still plenty of venison in the freezer. I’ll do a light pan frying with some fried onions. The potato wedges are homemade (yum).

Thursday: Oven Baked Fish, Rice & Oven Roasted Broccoli

Still trying to add more fish into my diet. I love Paul Prudhomme’s seafood magic, all I have to do is sprinkle a bit of that on top.

Friday: Pizza

Homemade naturally!

Saturday: Pork Schnitzel, Buttered Noodles and Veggies

It’s been a long time since I made schnitzel, and I saw the meat in the freezer yesterday. So I’ll make it!

Sunday: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

We have our church annual meeting on Sunday, so I’ll be bringing a dish to pass and everyone will be eating tons. After a heavy lunch we’ll be having a light supper

I popped over from home-ec101, to peek at your menu.

I think I’ll be making more leftovers, this week, than eating them. 🙂

I gave up on the Venison whole meats.. I seem to only destroy them, while attempting to learn how to not over-cook them. My last two pick-ups were all ground, sans loin and tenderloin.

    Have a good week.

will you give your schnitzel recipe? I got a lot of pork on sale at Hannaford for 99 cents a pound and hubby loves schnitzel – thanks!

what cheese do you use for the grilled cheese? I never seem to be able to make these (taste) like I expect but they are one of my favorites. My mom never made them so I never learned how to cook them and was amazed watching a friends parent cook these when I was a teen. Yum, now many years later I still havent made these much, but I order a grilled cheese for lunch if Im out.
