I’ve never been a green bean casserole fan, love green beans steamed w/ butter and salt…but heres a recipe to dress them up:
Cook green beans in salted boiling water 5-6 min til tender, drain
Melt butter in pan, add garlic, cook 1 min
Add bread crumbs and sliced almonds – toasted until golden 3-4 min
Toss w/ green beans
optional dressing:
4T Olive oil
2t white wine vinegar
1/4t dijon
pinch of sugar
pinch of salt
Mix together, toss with green beans and sprinkle w/ bread crumb mixture.
