My Fall Fashion Picks at Walmart

When do you start changing your wardrobe for fall?  Most years the first half of September is warm enough in Upstate New York for sandals and shorts still to be the order of the day.  But it’s unpredictable.  Sometimes the temperature drops overnight and you are digging out the sweaters and jeans you haven’t worn in months.  It’s time to transition into fall.

Walmart Fall Fashion

Walmart sent me into the store this month to check out Fall Fashion at Walmart.  Since fall is also when my professional work gears up I thought I’d combine fall fashion with business casual.  Here’s what I chose:

Riders by Lee perfect shirt in white and raspberry.  They are wrinkle resistant and have stretch, plus slimming princess seams.

A heather gray, pink and orange boat neck 3/4 sleeve shirt.  It’s a fun color combo and a nice mid thigh tunic length.

My favorite find of all was the Comfort Ease gray pants (Riders by Lee)–these look like dress pants but have the stretch, flow and comfort of a pair of PJs.  Soooo nice to wear!

As you can see, I mixed the pieces up in several ways.  Each shirt of course can be worn alone with the pants.  The striped top can be worn under the raspberry shirt, or over either shirt for a sort of preppy business casual look.

Of course, they could be mixed and matched with other items in my wardrobe for even more looks.

One of the things I especially like about these items is that they are all easy care–wrinkle free or with some stretch in them, and super comfortable!

So what do you think of my choices?
