Giveaway: Rubbermaid Lunch Blox Sandwich Kit

This post may contain sponsored and/or affiliate links. Click here to read our full disclaimer and find out more about this.

I just love giving away Rubbermaid products because you guys just love getting them so much.  This one is a great back to school giveaway for the new Rubbermaid LunchBlox sandwich kit!

Check this out-there is a sandwich container, 2 smaller containers and a medium one.  The best part?  They all lock together kinda like legos on a specially formed blue ice pack!

See?  They REALLY stick together.

And because they stick together they will all stay together in the lunchbox–so nothing tips and spills.  It also keeps them very compact.  My kiddos took one look at the kit and started fighting over who would get to use it for their lunches this year.  So you know I’m going to have to go out and buy another one!

Here is the full description of the Lunchblox Sandwich Kit from Rubbermaid (note-there are other kits-an entree and a salad kit!)

  • Containers stack compactly to stay organized
  • Blue Ice™ keeps your lunch cool on the go
  • Secure lid seal
  • BPA-free
  • Microwave, Dishwasher, and Freezer Safe
  • Sandwich container holds regular and specialty bread
  • Sandwich Kit includes 2 Snack Containers, 1 Side Container, 1 Sandwich Container and 1 Medium Blue Ice

And now on to the fun part–the giveaway!  I am giving away THREE of the Lunchblox Sandwich Kits!!!  And hey, even if you don’t win, you can get a free coupon for $1.50 off a LunchBlox!

This giveaway runs from today-September 1st 2012 through midnight EST Friday September 7th 2012.

To enter, just leave a comment telling me why the Rubbermaid Lunch Blox Sandwich Kit will make lunchtime easier in your home.

Do you want some extra entries?  You can do each of the below once-remember, you have to come back here and leave a separate comment for each action to have it count.

Extra Entry One:  Subscribe to Frugal Upstate (or let me know if you already have)

Extra Entry Two:  Follow me, Jenn Fowler, on twitter

Extra Entry Three:  Tweet on facebook about this giveaway using the link: http://www.frugalupstate.com/?p=10922

Extra Entry Four: Visit the Rubbermaid “Adventures in Organization” blog, come back here and tell me the name of an article there that you found interesting.

Good luck!  You can also “like” the Rubbermaid Facebook page (keep your eye on them for other giveaways!) or follow them on Twitter.  And of course I’d always love you to join in the great conversations over on the Frugal Upstate Facebook Page as well!

*Open to US & CA residents only.

This will be great for my husband! I’m packing him lunches often and I love that this would be able to easily keep the containers together…and not find them chasing around the van days or weeks later!

I’d love to have this for my own use, or any of my kids! I work 4-midnight, so I can’t exactly leave work easily to grab a quick bite on my lunch hour, and the rest of the family may have different hours, but they are just as busy.

This is what I bought for lunches this year. So far, it’s working great! I only have 2 sets for 2 kids, so I am motivated to find, wash, and fill them every night–no last minute scramble! Last year we tried Easy Lunchboxes but the compartments always leaked.

I enjoyed “How To Say No in a Yes Society” from the Rubbermaid blog. Keeping the stuff OUT of the house is even easier than organizing it!

This would be great for my freshman daughter who is much more conscious about the content of her lunch than she used to be. The coolness factor would be great for her, too! 🙂

“8 Things to Do Right Away for an Organized Basement” was interesting to me. The basement has been the catch-all for the house since we moved last summer, and it’s about time to start organizing/decluttering it.

I think this would be great for the way it keeps the ice evenly distributed through the food. Thanks Jen!

I like that they are closed completely and stay together. This will be great for making lunches ahead of time.

I love your website and follow you on twitter. The ideas and recipes you share are beyond helpful. I am a mother of 3 with 2 currently in college. I work in a public elementary school as a paraprofessional (teacher assistant) full time and bring my lunch to work every day. These Rubbermaid Lunch Blox would be great for me to bring my lunch in. They are compact but big enough to fit what I would need for lunch. I love the way they snap together so you know when you are missing a section or top.

I have to often pack a lunch and dinner to bring to work due to long hours so something like this would make packing all that food much quicker and easier for me when I’m pressed for time.

They are lightweight and fit well into a small lunch bag. They help keep food fresh, and nothing leaks. Fantastic! and there’s no need for extra ice packs, which is even better.

I would love one of these because my son goes to a school where they have to bring the personal lunchbox coolers because the lunches are kept outside (we live in FL) and the squirrels have learned how to unzip the regular lunchboxes! We use a cooler with an ice pack but it is very hard to get the food that you want to stay cool to stay on top of the icepack (especially when carried by an 8 year old practicing his pitching swing- lol). These would be GREAT! I follow you via email and I found the article Toys, Bows and Legos – Oh My! Kid Organizing Tips interesting… rubbermaid containers have long bee my secret weapon in the toy battle but this article brought it to a new level. Thanks!!

These would be great for my 2 kids lunches. We’re all so tired from working, things could be put together the night before, stacked and just taken out in the am. I think it would make lunches super easy! And, I love the fact that the ice block is there and there’s no waste from paper bags or baggies! YAY for anything we can do to save the environment!!
