Are you familiar with the Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond)? She’s got a blog, a tv cooking show and now a line of really gorgeous (and extremely reasonably priced) housewares at Walmart! As a blogger, Ree is one of those people everyone wants to be like. She has a fun and personable style in her blog posts, lovely photos, wrote cookbooks and was picked up for her very own cooking show!
Walmart is the ONLY place to carry her new line of country chic housewares–and they asked the Walmart Moms if we wanted a special sneak peek. That’s right–all this gorgeousness was shipped to my house about THREE weeks ago and I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone about it until the official launch! The Pioneer Woman’s style is sort of a mix of vintage country with eclectic flea market thrown in. I just love the color palette–bright reds, pretty turquoise, golden amber, fun and funky floral prints. . . And the little touches are so sweet–the quote “Live, laugh. . . and lick the spoon!” on the spatula. Butterflies where the handle is welded onto the pan. Raised beaded trim on plates. It’s just really, really nice stuff.
The Butterfly Vintage Speckle 2-Pack Non-Stick Frying Pan Set came at a great time–my Mother in Law had just told me that she was having trouble these days lifting her favorite cast iron skillet. These porcelain non-stick skillets are far lighter. She was concerned that with the pretty red silicon handles they wouldn’t be able to go in the oven, but they are oven safe up to 400 degrees. I also gave my sweet MIL the Cowboy Rustic Silicone Head and Acacia Wood Handle Spoon it’s nice and sturdy and just matched the pans so nicely I couldn’t bear to split them up. Actually a set of the pans with a spatula would be a lovely housewarming gift.
We were sent one set of dishes each from the Paige 12-Piece Crackle Glaze Dinnerware Set and the Vintage Bloom 12-Piece Decorated Dinnerware Set , I’m sure you’ll be seeing those quite a bit in my food photography. All of the dinnerware can be mixed and matched together, and you can buy all of it as individual pieces as well as a set.
Who wouldn’t love the cute little Flea Market Red Cow Shape Creamer
I don’t really need a new creamer, but I can’t give away a red cow. I mean it’s red. And a cow. (The cow does come in turquoise and a floral print as well). Finally we recieved some of the glassware–an Adeline 10 oz Glass Sundae Cup and the Simple Homemade Goodness Mason Jar with Handle, Lid and Straw . I love to drink out of glass, and having a lid and straw means I won’t slosh! If I fill this up twice a day and drink it, I’ll have met my water drinking goal for the day–which is a bonus!
You can find more of the Pioneer Woman line in your local store on online at Walmart.com.
So much beautiful stuff! These would make great wedding gifts or graduate gifts. They also have a lot of really nice looking cast iron and enameled cast iron available from the Pioneer Woman online at Walmart.
Remember how I said you could mix and match? I realized that with the sundae cup and a plate, I could make my own Pioneer Woman cake or cupcake stand:
So what do you think? Are any of these items on your wish list?

I saw the line the last time I was in Walmart. Most of it is really pretty. I saw some pieces that were an eggplant shade as well. Now those are really pretty.

I absolutely love this set and I wanted to know if I could put it in the oven because when I bbq I like to keep it in the oven on warm and yeah I see that I can which is an additional +. Thanks Dee for such a good product for us who is not pulling in lots and lots of money.

Just purchased service for 16 of the Paige Crackle Glaze in Linen. I have not found out if it is oven safe at all. It was not mentioned as to whether or not it was oven safe, but did say it was microwave safe. How would I find out if it is oven safe or not. I know all stoneware used to be oven safe up to 400*. Just don’t want to ruin my dishes. But has anyone had any experience with these in the oven? Thanks

Cyndi-Someone asked the same question on the product page on Walmart.com. Here is what the customer service folks answered: Hi 2tmommy, thank you for your question. The Paige Dinnerware set is microwave and dishwasher safe. However, they are not oven safe.
